In this article posted back in 2017 the UN and New Zealand has granted "human rights" to a river. Yeah, as insane as that sounds it makes perfect sense to the leftists. Inanimate objects being granted "human rights".

Right to free speech?
Right to bear arms?
LOL. Well, the left doesn't consider those rights to actually be rights so they didn't extend those rights to rivers. But, that doesn't really matter. Ever seen a really "angry" river misbehaving? It makes antifa and blm look like little kids playing with wet matches when it comes to property destruction.

if a river has human rights and it floods and destroys property and causes the death of humans, can it then be held responsible in a court of law and imprisoned?

Don't you know that the socialist left doesn't approve of criminal punishment? If anyone on the left gets jailed for property destruction Kamala bails them out of jail. Oh, how out of touch you are.

Human rights AND responsibilities.
The socialists don't believe in that second word. We have no responsibilities other other than to believe what the socialists say. You're just as out of touch as ok. I take it you've been neglecting your required reading of the mockingbird media.

Yes.

It will be sentenced to prison behind banks. However, rivers have been known to break a bank and get out again.

I hate to tell you this but our banks are already bankrupt. The Fed and the government has already bankrupted us. Rivers seem to be immune to being "bank"rupted. When they get out of the banks they often excavate enough soil to create new banks within which to run.
