Can anyone offer up any ideas on how Trump is going to reign in spending? It sounds like he is only going to balloon deficits further...
He wants to increase spending for military, law enforcement and infrastructure and cut the EPA ($8.14 billion total budget for 2016), foreign aid ($35.2 billion total) and non-military federal agencies. We know of a 10% increase in military spending which would total $54 billion. He will have to cut a lot and I mean a lot to offset such an increase and that only speaks to two of the three areas where he wants to increase.
How is his budget going to be any more fiscally responsible than any recent budgets that have been passed?

Are you insane? Obama racked up 10 trillion in debt, that's more than a trillion a year for every year in office !! Where were the crybabies then? Trump deserves to spend a few trillion to rebuild our infrastructure, rebuild our nuclear arsenal and rebuild the military. Those things combined with tax cuts and more job creation will boost the economy and reduce our debt tremendously in the 7 years more that Trump will have.

What does that have to do with the price of tea in China? Obama isn't in office. In addition, I never voted for Obama and have long been an advocate of balanced budgets so you're off-base here.
You are so naive. We spend $600 billion on defense as it is. He wants to increase this by $54 billion. He "deserves" to do this? It's our money not Trump's. Who says he deserves to do this? Tax cuts will increase the deficit. WE HAVE TO CUT SPENDING if we are going to cut taxes. Cutting taxes and increasing spending is not going to reduce our debt. Math obviously isn't your strong suit.

You are insane. America deserves to spend a few more trillion to fix the problems that the demoncrats created. Trump has been President for 6 weeks and you want him reducing the debt and cutting spending already? When will people like you have something to offer, a productive idea of how to support America and YOUR President?
