Must we observe to keep all 10 to reach the Kingdom. The 1000yr period of rest
Does scripture say you must?Must we observe to keep all 10 to reach the Kingdom. The 1000yr period of rest
Does scripture say you must?
Then why ask?Yeah. It does
Has Jesus already fulfilled all of it?The reason i ask is that the "many" Christians believe Jesus came along and started a new religion. I believe He simply fulfilled the old.
Then why ask?
How long do you think it will be before you achieve that?Psalm 94:12-16 (KJV)
12 Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law;
13 That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.
14 For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
15 But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
Id like to be that "who"
How long do you think it will be before you achieve that?

Well, are you NOW (at this moment) at the point that you can honestly say that you perfectly obey all the commandments. Not sure i understand your question. How long will i be doing this? Till i croak, i figure
Yep, and notice that it does not say one can get there by "trying to do it"."Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter through the gates into the city." (Revelation 22:14)
Well, are you NOW (at this moment) at the point that you can honestly say that you perfectly obey all the commandments.
Of all your friends and family, do you know of anyone that has done that?
I ask, because 'trying' is not enough.
If you fail in just one little point of the law, you are guilty of the entire law.
Exactly. No one but Jesus ever perfectly kept the 10
Exactly.
It is by His righteousness and obedience that saves, not our righteousness and obedience.
Romans 4 KJV(4) Now to him that workethis the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.(5) But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.(6) Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,
Pay close attention to verse 5.
It is your faith that is counted for your righteousness, not your works.
Romans 5 KJV
(18) Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
(19) For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
If any are relying on their own righteousness and obedience to save, they are relying on the wrong one.
No problem, as it was the law that made it clear to the people that it was the perfect spotless sacrifice that payed their debt in their stead.Youll also find this scripture in Romans
ROMANS 3 [27] Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. [28] Therefore we conclude that a MAN IS JUSTIFIED BY FAITH WITHOUT THE DEEDS OF THE LAW. [29] Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also: [30] Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith. [31] DO WE THEN MAKE VOID THE LAW THROUGH FAITH? GOD FORBID: yea, we establish the law.
No one but Jesus ever perfectly kept the 10
