What the above article won't tell you . . . is that, it is not a mystery as to why the earth's magnetic field is changing, it is happening because of Entropy. Just like a campfire with no one to add wood to or a cup of coffee setting on your desk, everything, left alone, gets cooler. As the earth gets "internally cooler" the magnetic field will slowly change/collapse. As the earths largely iron core solidifies the field will change, how ??? That is not known. But until our bureaucrats and politicians figure out a way to blame us and tax us for "them" to warm the earths core, we won't hear much about it
