[Georgia Lawmaker Introduces Bill to Ban the Burqa by Warner Todd Huston] "A Georgia state legislator has introduced a bill aimed at banning Muslim women from wearing the burqa or other traditional Muslim veils, a response to constituents’ fears of terrorism.

Republican Jason Spencer (180th District, Woodbine) introduced a bill that would make it illegal for Muslim women to wear a veil in public. It would also prohibit them from wearing a veil for driver’s license photos and while driving.

Spencer is seeking to add the language banning the veil, called a hijab and niqab, as well as a burqa, to the state’s anti-Ku Klux Klan laws meant to stop Klan members from wearing hoods and other masks to conceal their identify.

Most places prohibit garments which cover the face, especially bandanas and ski masks which are typical for criminals.
It's very rare to see a Muslim woman in America wear more than the traditional head covering because concealing the face raises alarm.

Also, it's stupid that one should be able to wear a veil when taking an ID photo. Religious expression only goes so far before it simply becomes ridiculous.

But
I don't see anything wrong with wearing the traditional head veils in public. Ol' Spencer would make a great case if only he kept that part to himself :chuckle:

Good! Its one of the few smart things France did. A Burqa manifests the oppression of women, and represnts Sharia Fascism.

How can it be by faith alone, and grace alone?

And none of those verses say we are saved by faith alone.
