Matthew 17:20
And He *said to them, "Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.

Am I the mountain that I am to move?

I believe it is

I believe I have seen the mountain move.

How does one move the mountain?

Matthew 5:1
When Jesus saw the crowds, He went up on the mountain; and after He sat down, His disciples came to Him.

Matthew 5:2
He opened His mouth and began to teach them, saying,

Matthew 5:3
"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 5:4
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

Matthew 5:5
"Blessed are the gentle, for they shall inherit the earth.

Matthew 5:6
"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

Matthew 5:7
"Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.

Matthew 5:8
"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Matthew 5:9
"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.

You are so full of it, that I'm sure you couldn't move a bowel if you had to.

Most Christians spiritualize verses that don't make sense to them.

Jesus was talking about an actual mountain, and he wasn't talking to you, brother Willi, when he made that statement.

Move your mountain first.

Then you will see the Rocky Mountains do not need to be moved.

Jesus was speaking to all, do you limit all by excluding me?

I read somewhere that the best thing is to not focus on the mountain a Christian may want to move, but rather they should focus on THE mountain mover!
Makes sense to this little black duck!

No He wasn't. You just have to read some of the black letters to see that.

  • Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, "Why could we not cast it out?"

So Jesus said to them, [jesus]"Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting." [/jesus] Matthew 17:19-21
Jesus was not addressing everyone who would ever live. He said this privately to the disciples who asked the question in verse 19.

So they put the private conversation in the Bible.

But it was only meant for the apostles:kookoo:

So using your logic, salvation is only for the apostles:kookoo:
