[Quoting The Vatican, May 9th, 2005]: "On Saturday, Pope Benedict XVI stressed that even the Pope does not have the authority to alter the church's teaching on the sanctity of human life and it's teachings on abortion and euthanasia."
That is so totally true! And while the Pope...is making that fundamental statement and drawing the line in the sand, we have our evangelical leaders all arguing over cloture as though that's the most significant issue of our time.
