While many citizens yearn for safety and a return to law and order, in November Black Lives Matter New York chapter threatened political unrest if Adams were to reinstate the anti-crime units. The teams had received backlash over the years for allegedly disproportionately targeting minorities in their crime-fighting, resorting to a tactic called “stop and frisk,” which critics say involved racial profiling.

Only specific minorities. They didn't racially profile Asians, for example, or Kenyans or Nigerians. No, they racially profiled African-Americans, who commit more crime proportionally than any other demographic in the universe.

And those black lives - the black lives of black criminal African-Americans who commit more crime proportionately than any other demographic in the universe - black criminal lives like George Floyd, Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown - those miserable black lives don't matter any more to me than they did to their owners.
