I'm new here, but I have been a "member" on many other discussion boards. However, this is by far the best one that I have found, because of the community aspect. On other boards, I have been, for the most part, a "lurker".
This board really has a community feel to me. This is not all "serious and pious", but the serious and pious is not left out either. What a great combination.
I have been a member here all of one week and I have already made one observation. In answer to your poll Solly, TOL is what you make of it. If you want to be argumentative, and critical, and have your soapbox, you can do that. If you want to be argumentative, and critical, have your soapbox,
and have a good time with fellow believers you don't always agree with, you can do that too.
If this place is as addictive as I think it will be for me, and then when I become a "registered" member, then I will post this poll (unless someone who is already a member will post it for me).
They will know we are Christians by our:
- Reason
- Arguments
- Grammar
- Wit
- Sarcasm
- Love
To me it is the fellowship of this board that keeps me coming back.
