Titus: 3 King James Version (KJV)
3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
The above says, Our savior did not appear to us because we esteemed, used, promoted, invoked and/or upheld the ten commandments. More precisely the above says, "for we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another."
The above is confirming that Jesus did not appear (come) to those people (2000 odd years ago) because they esteemed, used, promoted, invoked and/or upheld the ten commandments . . . because they did not. (this is history or data related to the Jews etc. of 2000 years ago and the circumstances under with Jesus came to them)
Jesus came to them purely because of mercy. The above simply explained the circumstances under which Jesus came to those people, 2000 odd years ago. Jesus did not come to them because they did good or bad things.
Jesus came among them to offer them salvation by/through the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.
Therefore salvation is through the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.
Traditional Christians totally miss the above point. Traditional Christians simply parrot the above (as a slogan) and believe that they are saved. They simplistically do this with no recognition of or regard for, what 'regeneration' means in the Holy KJV N.T.:
Matthews: 19 KJV N.T.
28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
The regeneration is when Jesus sits on the throne of his glory. After Jesus crucifixion, He rose to spirit heaven, clad only in His Spirit body and sat on the right side of the Holy Spirit. Since 2000 odd years ago, Jesus is on His throne of glory receiving people who follow Him.
1 Corinthians 15 KJV N.T.
35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.
Romans: 8 KJV N.T.
34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
Salvation requires one to follow Jesus in the regeneration. This involves following Jesus in His regenerated Spirit. Jesus Spirit was regenerated after he was crucified. Then Jesus rose to spirit heaven in His regenerated Spirit. Jesus' regenerated Spirit is the Spirit of Truth.
In this format Jesus is pure Spirit. He is the pure Son of the Holy Spirit. In this format, Jesus is the Spirit, 'not seen' and eternal, Son of God, Lord Jesus.
In order to follow the Spirit, 'not seen' and eternal, Son of God, Lord Jesus one must be 'converted', i.e. one must becoming spiritually aware. Then search one's own heart/spirit to discern the Spirit of Jesus, within. Then be led into all of one's works by precisely what the Spirit of Jesus has in mind for one to know, pray for say and do as discerned within one's own heart/spirit. This is how one follows Jesus, in the regeneration, and is also saved.
One is not saved simply by parroting verses from the Holy KJV N.T. One is saved by following Jesus in the regeneration:
Matthews: 8 KJV N.T.
22 But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.
Do not be 'the dead' who simplistically only parrot verses.
