Our frootcake Secretary of Education has done it again.
Even more disturbing than the faked photo is DeVoss' notion that classrooms today still work that way.
A classroom I happen to have known:
As my principal said, I could have walked out of the classroom, and none of the students would have even noticed.
And yes, it's disorderly and noisy, and no one is paying attention to anything but the problem I've given them. And there's groans when a hypothesis doesn't work, and then cheers and fist pumping when they find the correct hypothesis.
They'll never forget it. DeVoss is stuck in the old paradigm, and can't relate to the needs of students in the 21st century.
