Germany, one of the wealthiest EU countries accepted a million "refugees".
With a population of 80 million, thats almost 1 in 100 citizens.

The result has been the filling to capacity of all health services, including dentistry,
with local and municipal governments shifting the bill to taxpayers.

Its the absolute fundamental cost per person that is staggering, estimated at about $20,000 each in Canadian dollars.

If Canada goes ahead with its plan to allow in 50,000 refugees,
the cost for dental bills alone will be 20,000 x 50,000 or about $1,000,000,000 dollars.

Thats right: ONE BILLION DOLLARS, which the Canadian government will
place on taxpayers without their consent or vote.

It matters not whether this comes from federal, provincial or municipal schemes.
Its an additional burden that will cost Canadian taxpayers, essentially home owners
(8.5 million people) 120 dollars each.

over 60% of Canadian home owners are already mortgaged to the hilt.

Thats over and above the cost of housing (most of the refugees will be granted welfare),
food cost increases, shortages in every other item on the agenda.

But of course the ongoing costs will only spiral upward, as relatives of the 50,000 'refugees'
will also apply and be granted 'landed immigrant' status pretty much automatically,
to "unite the familes". So that 50,000 number should be multiplied by at least 3 - 5.

That will work out to more like $500 per home owner per year,
at a whopping 5 BILLION dollars for dental care alone.

It needs to be remembered that:

Canada's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is only about $CDN 1,720,748 million
The USA's GDP for comparison is................................ $USD 16,244,600 million

That is, only 1/16 the size of the USA.

With the costs of each dental treatment breaching €10,000, the estimated cost for the migrant invasion in teeth alone could be many billions of Euros, reports the Stuttgarter Nachrichten. In fact, if just 10 per cent of Germany’s total number of migrants claim for dental work, the bill would easily exceed €1bn.
Dental care is not the only public health area in which the migrant crisis is putting practitioners and facilities under unprecedented strain.
As reported by Breitbart London last year, a Gatestone Institute account of the healthcare situation in Germany found clinics and emergency rooms “filled to capacity”, and previously exterminated diseased making comebacks.
“German public health officials are now on the lookout for Crimean Congo hemorrhagic fever, diphtheria, Ebola, hepatitis, HIV/AIDS, malaria, measles, meningitis, mumps, polio, scabies, tetanus, tuberculosis, typhus and whooping cough. As refugee shelters fill to overflowing, doctors are also on high alert for mass outbreaks of influenza and Norovirus”, says the report.

I say let their teeth rot. I can't get free dental !! Maybe I'll immigrate to Canada, get a fresh new start with free money and housing etc etc

As a Christian, my citizenship and therefore my patriotism is to the Kingdom of God, not to this world.

I do remember being required to say an oath as a child that went like this:
I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.​

Since the United States of America is not a Republic (it is a Democracy according to the media), it is not a nation (it is a Federation of nations according to the writers of the Constitution), and is not under God, then it appears that the oath is only valid concerning the flag itself and not the United States of America.

1. Perhaps "Nazaroo" would care to explain where he gets the 50 000 figure - given that the government stated goal is 25 000!

2. "Nazaroo" conveniently fails to mention that many of these refugees are being sponsored privately - by churches and other groups.

3. Most of these Syrian refugees are families with young children - not the profile one associates with potential "terrorists!"

4. Prior to WW2, both Canada and the USA denied access to a boatload of mainly German Jews who were seeking refuge from Nazi persecution. They were sent back and most were later gassed in the concentration camps. One would have thought that North Americans, especially those who claim to be Christians would have learned a lesson - apparently the Canadians took it to heart but unfortunately the same can't be said for Americans!

Voyage of the St. Louis

On May 13, 1939, the German transatlantic liner St. Louis sailed from Hamburg, Germany, for Havana, Cuba. On the voyage were 937 passengers. Almost all were Jews fleeing from the Third Reich. Most were German citizens, some were from eastern Europe, and a few were officially "stateless."

Since the Kristallnacht (literally the “Night of Crystal,” more commonly known as the "Night of Broken Glass") pogrom of November 9–10, 1938, the German government had sought to accelerate the pace of forced Jewish emigration. The German Foreign Office and the Propaganda Ministry also hoped to exploit the unwillingness of other nations to admit large numbers of Jewish refugees to justify the Nazi regime's anti-Jewish goals and policies both domestically in Germany and in the world at large.

..... Hostility toward immigrants fueled both antisemitism and xenophobia. Both agents of Nazi Germany and indigenous right-wing movements hyped the immigrant issue in their publications and demonstrations, claiming that incoming Jews were Communists.

..... prohibited from landing in Cuba, Captain Schröder took the ship and its passengers to Florida ... legally the refugees could not enter the US on tourist visas, as they had no return addresses. The US had passed the Immigration Act of 1924 that restricted numbers of new immigrants from eastern and southern Europe.

..... as the St. Louis was turned away from the United States, a group of academics and clergy in Canada tried to persuade the nation's Prime Minister, William Lyon Mackenzie King, to provide sanctuary to the ship's passengers, as it was only two days from Halifax, Nova Scotia.

..... The United Kingdom agreed to take 288 of the passengers (31.76 percent), who disembarked and traveled to the UK via other steamers. After much negotiation by Schröder, the remaining 619 passengers were allowed to disembark at Antwerp; 224 were accepted by France (24.70 percent), 214 by Belgium (23.59 percent), and 181 by the Netherlands (19.96 percent). Without any passengers, the ship returned to Hamburg. The following year, after the Nazi German invasions of Belgium and France in May 1940, all the Jews in those countries were at renewed risk, including the recent refugees.

"Of the 620 St. Louis passengers who returned to continental Europe, we determined that eighty-seven were able to emigrate before Germany invaded western Europe on May 10, 1940. Two hundred fifty-four passengers in Belgium, France, and the Netherlands after that date died during the Holocaust. Most of these people were murdered in the killing centers of Auschwitz and Sobibór; the rest died in internment camps, in hiding or attempting to evade the Nazis. Three hundred sixty-five of the 620 passengers who returned to continental Europe survived the war."

One of the reasons for sending these Jews back was that there may have been "communists" among them - the more things change the more they stay the same!
