But that rule does not apply to democrats who regularly appear in churches, mostly black churches, to seek support. Cuomo is just such a democrat, appearing unannounced at the black church of a preacher that he appointed to the Long Island Power Authority last year. Cuomo does know how to press the flesh for support, even after his star has fallen.
