The Biden administration is spending a massive amount of money in ways and on projects favored by leftist progressives with no republican oversight. This is clearly a leftist robbery of the US Treasury for pork projects and the American people are paying for these projects whether they like it or not and the American people will not be told specifically where the money is going and to whom. That is why democrats have been fighting Trump and republicans for years. They lust for control of the purse.
A very large portion of the money will never be spent on actual infrastructure projects but on special leftist interests such as global warming, reparations, 'inter-city development', block grants to democrat supporters, 'scientific research' and other such projects promoted by leftists with their thumbs in the pies they are promoting, which is why the crooks do not want transparency.
President Biden’s infrastructure czar Mitch Landrieu is ignoring calls for transparency on how the administration is doling out more than $1.2 trillion in taxpayer dollars for new road, highway and port projects, according to Republican lawmakers.
Mr. Landrieu’s contact with congressional lawmakers, however, has been disparate as evidenced by his willingness to meet with the Congressional Progressive Caucus and not members of the House Transportation Committee.
