[The oldest child of a home schooled family called me up] and she said that her Christian home school parents have now become so liberal - they go to a typical Christian Bible church - that they allow their daughter to have her boyfriend sleep in the living room. They sleep together on an air mattress because the father "put his foot down" and said the boyfriend couldn't sleep in the daughter's bedroom. They had to sleep in the living room. And the 2 boys they used to home school now go to public school and they caught the boys one morning both with girls in their bedrooms. And she said that her family is accepting this new immorality.
And my comment to her was, "Welcome to the club because you're describing the future of the entire Body of Christ." Divorce. Immorality. Pornography. It is flooding the Body of Christ. And the reason is because our Christian leaders have become legal positivists.
I am sorry, I simply do not believe this quote! Either the oldest child made up this story, or Bob Enyart made up this story. It has to be one, or the other.
It is called embellishment.
