I don't know how old you are, Granite, but I'm almost 60 and for as long as I can remember, birth control of one form or another has been completely accessible to consenting adults. If folks are about controlling sex in any way, I think it has more to do with the fact that children and young adults have no business being part of the sexually active. Hand a child a crayon and what will he/she do with it?...use it.
Hand a teen some money and what will he/she do with it?...use it.
Hand them a condom.....
It's not rocket science. Why put a stumbling block before a child? Aren't they facing enough challenge in life? In more ways than one, it is about saving children and even moreso when pregnancy centers everywhere are convincing these young people to keep their babies instead of adopting them out.
:first: Ah the wisdom of the gray!
