The commands related to the Gentiles because of the Jerusalem council ARE found in the Law.observing the Law is not a good work. in Acts 15, the Holy Spirit PROHIBIT us to observ the Law. it is not the Holy Spirit talking through Luke, it is the Holy Spirit talking directly himself. we can not observ the Law since is direct desobedience to the Holy Spirit. also Paul make it clear that those in obedience to the Law are dammed, and the work of Christ became null for the.
NO, we can not choose to be obedient to the Law. that leadss to a very poor spiritual life. and the best example is practicing tithe. christians tithing live in constant sin. pastors teacching to tithe are lieing every day. denominations practicinf tithe are apart from christ.

Doing the will of God
All you have to figure out is, what all did Jesus do? And there you have what are good works.
Love God with all your heart, mind, and soul. Love your neighbor as you love yourself.
How do you think you measure up to that standard? Nobody with any spot or blemish will enter into life. Not one spot.
Perhaps someone has already said this as I have not read the entire thread.
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Acts 10:38

Would getting up early in the wee hours of the morning to pray and be close to Our Father be good?
Would giving thanks for all things before even asking for what is wanted good?
On and on it goes...
I LUV the will of God!
16 Rejoice evermore.
17 Pray without ceasing.
18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Hallelujah!
we must:bang: and more important, we can:bang: imitate:bang: Jesus. Jesus lived by faith (not being omniscient):bang:, lived in the power of God (not being omnipotent):bang: doing good things. we must and we can do the same:bang:.
How is it working out for you? All the law hangs on what the Lord Jesus Christ quoted from Deuteronomy and Leviticus. And Exodus and on and on.
