The Biden administration and specifically DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas are selling the board to the public as something with a narrow focus, specifically “to coordinate countering misinformation related to homeland security, focused on irregular migration and Russia.”
One must note that every government program with the potential for tyranny has indeed turned corrupt and thus tyrannical. The power to declare truth is arguably the most worrisome of any program created, to include the mass surveillance programs of NSA.
