You know, you two could make things a lot easier on yourselves:
Well, it's funny enough the way he narrowed the focus on one of the more consistently conservative holding Courts we've had in a while...that said, it's entertaining watching chrys attempt to make me a liberal while preserving the conservative label for Thomas and Roberts, etc. :)

Anna, that is an exceptional post!

I didn't understand anything they said and you have reduced their mysterious posts down to their most irreducible points! Excellent!

I think my cluelessness is now honed to a very fine point
Or two
Or maybe some other number :dizzy:

You know, you two could make things a lot easier on yourselves:

I failed every subject except maths.

How come?
I didn't take maths.

I managed to count to ten and the teacher asked me to go on. So I said 'jack, queen...'

Adding up is about all I'm good for. Rabbits multiply faster than me.

Believe me, no computational brain neurons were triggered when I posted that.

Numbers are important to both chrys and TH, they think about things in numerically connected ways, patterns, what have you. I can see what they're doing, while knowing that I don't usually think or frame things in numerical contexts in the same way they do, and what seems clear to them leaves me muddled. When I see patterns, they tend to be linguistic rather than numeric.

I just thought it was funny, although I'm not sure TH did.

All I can say to that is three things:
1)
2)
3).

he did start a thread on numbers
and
then brought them to my thread

it was clever but also fallacious
It's almost worth it, watching you work this hard to transform spite into a public virtue. :)

But it doesn't really add up. So go on, the suspense is killing...well, interest if you pay attention.

What is it now, 46 days and counting?

Yes, perhaps he ought to start an award tango for "Most spiteful"?
He has a very long memory for any perceived disagreement aimed at him. And it remains forever in the background of all further interactions.
Sad, really, for a Christian man to be so unforgiving. Or so it seems to me?

He's a pane of glass when you pay attention. Like his apparent lament about numbers when no one is more an embittered, angry slave to them than Chrys...or the odd nature of his complaint about my noting the diminishing numbers of this monument to pique, given his practice in the same thread, the whole pitiful point of the 15 cases snare that caught nothing, really.

Truth is he's angry. At neighbors, dogs, unions, Democrats, people who question his reasoning and the authority he's conferred upon himself.

It's what he does best, like giving himself the job of a not so grand inquisitor charged with pointing out the often non heretical, but unorthodox beliefs/exegesis of some Christians here while practicing Catholicism believing in reincarnation. :plain:

This thread is simply the bitter culmination of his inclinations, a sum of what he's about and an ongoing exposure of sorts regarding the atrophied nature of his funny bone. And I suppose I should take some blame for enabling him by participating here as much as I have.

excuse me
but
as I have said before
it is my job to expose unreasonable behavior
and
I try to do it in an entertaining manner

But you are unreasonable ... and tend to have a sour disposition ...

It's like you start everyday by drinking a glass of pure lemon juice ...

In fact, you should put yourself up for the category of Most Negative Poster.

rusha has never liked me
and
I can only speculate as to why

I know she supports unions
and
says she is against abortion
so
it must upset her that I continue to remind everyone
that
the democratic party supports unions and abortion

If you were truly speculative you would figure it out.
