Cases you think show the need for death penalty

Any instance in which the criminal poses an ongoing threat to life.

1. Those who kill indiscriminately, not knowing their victims.

2. Those who have killed multiple people, and/or killed repeatedly.

3. Those who kill to escape custody, or in prison.

4. Those who kidnap, rape, and/or torture.

The point being that society is not obliged to maintain the life of anyone who poses a continuing threat to the lives of others. I don't believe we as a society should execute people as punishment for having committed a crime. I do, however, believe society has the right to protect itself from those who have shown that they are likely to destroy the lives of others, again, if they get an opportunity.

From a Christian point of view, that includes anyone preaching a false gospel.

Religious (or nonreligious) feelings aside, post any cases here that you sincerely believe show the need for execution for the good of society.

We live in the New Covenant, you're not supposed to kill.

The examples you gave are people who need Jesus Christ, not lethal ejection.

Did Christ Jesus not die for the sins of the HIV man that raped a little girl?

Was that HIV man's sin not paid for on the cross?

Why is that it's ok that your sins were paid for at the cross, but you don't want the same thing for other people?

You seem a bit confused about physical life and life after death. You pay for crimes committed in this life while you are in this life. The after life is another matter.

Indeed! A sinner may be saved but he must still pay the price for his crimes.

Pre-meditated rape/kidnapping/murder/torture. obviously cold blooded murder is #1 on the list. The aggravating factors play a huge role in the decision for the death penalty. I'm for it for the crimes I listed.

God commanded the death penalty for adultery in this life.

The "after life" is not another matter. The Lord told the parable of the unforgiving servant.

Yes to both. And add the mentally insane to that list.
Crazy people don't want to get executed and they need to hear that they will be punished by death too.

Wrong. Adultery is punishable by divorce "in this life" because the Law of the Messiah, the Law of Liberty, the Law of Christ has replaced the Law of Moses which has been rendered totally inoperative post cross.

You are thoroughly confused about the "law" of God. Only those provisions that are repeated in the NT are the Law of God today. Stoning for adultery and rebellious kids no longer apply.

Study in the light of this and your argument goes up in smoke.

Ah yes the imaginary covenant of grace found nowhere in scripture. Thanks for the reminder my son
