When Jesus was accepted into heaven, we were accepted in him.
Because of the doing and the dying of Jesus we have been MADE perfect and complete "In Christ", Colossians 2:10. Can you accept accept your acceptance? Very few are able to believe this and accept it.
Calvinist are not able to believe this. They want to be predestinated to salvation. Catholics are not able to believe this, they want to participate in their own salvation. Jesus said, "And few their be that find it" Matthew 7:14. Few their be that find it, because few there be that believe it or want it.
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man can come to the Father but by me" John 14:6. When Jesus entered into heaven he presented to God the Father his righteousness, in your name and on your behalf. It is the only righteousness that God will accept, Romans 3:26. He also presented to God the Father his blood that was shed for the remission of our sins, Hebrews 9:12.
Our salvation has been earned for us by the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. To put it another way we have been bought with a price. Paul said to the Corinthians, "For you are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body and in your Spirit, which are God's" 1 Corinthians 6:20. Salvation is a free gift from God, Ephesians 2:8, but it cost Christ everything. There is no such thing as cheap or free grace.
