People who do this sort of thing are looking for meaning.
But they are looking in the wrong place. The only meaning is in relationship with Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
Also, if they find meaning in this kind of enquiry, it involves no moral choice on their part and hence might be termed in the general category of 'easy believism'.
Take Jesus' advice 'You reap what you sow.' If you are prepared to put in a life of commitment to Jesus' commands, then you will reap a reward of eternal life. If you are only prepared to believe you must be somehow important to someone or something in the universe, this will give you a good feeling. You might even feel inspired at how wonderful the whole universe is. But such feelings are not part of being a disciple of Jesus. Anyone can have such feelings. Take the narrow path instead.
