I know people (more know OF people) who have committed crimes in their youth but repented and try to live a good life. But it is SOOO hard when you have a record, hard to get a job, a decent place to live..
If you have $$ and name recognition, prestige, you will always get a 2nd chance.. (just apologize... works every time).
If you are poor, you can apologize all you want.. but you can totally forget it..
Well, there are a few stories of justice being done for those who repent... but usually, if you are poor, no one gives a rip..
If a poor person lies on a gov application form, makes up stuff like Williams did.. yeh... we will see how long it takes to get that person convicted
(b4 the ink is dry...)
