ECT Born Again

There are some on this forum who assert that those in the Body of Christ are not born again.

What evidence can anyone give one way or the other?

Why does Paul, the only writer of scripture to use the term "body of Christ", never use the term "born again"?

P.S. I refer to his use of the "body of Christ" as it relates to the church which is His body and not the use of His literal body as in Hebrews 10:10

The evidence of being born again is being filled with the Holy Ghost and speaking in tongues as God gives the utterance.

Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Act 10:45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Act 10:46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
Act 10:47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
Act 10:48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

It is a matter of doing God's will not ours.

The "born again"/"new birth" spoken of by the Lord Jesus Christ in John 3 KJV,is a reference to the future rebirth of the nation Israel, when she is also to be spiritually cleansed and regenerated, under the blessings of the New Covenant, also possessing her land forever, after the second coming, "the second time"(Acts 7:13 KJV, Hebrews 9:28 KJV).

Psalms 22 KJV

31 They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.

1 Peter 1:3 KJV Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

Isaiah 66 KJV
8 Who hath heard such a thing?who hath seen such things?Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day?or shall a nation be born at once?for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

“Regeneration” is associated with God’s program for both the nation Israel and the boc(Mathew 19:28 KJV-Christ’s Millennial kingdom program, the hope of Israel/Titus 3:4-5 boc), but only Israel can be said to be “born again.” Regeneration for a Jew in the kingdom program made him a part of a born again nation. Regeneration today, in this dispensation, for any person today makes that respective believer part, a member, of the boc.

Your reading is out of context, friend.

Filled with the HS is not speaking in tongues.

Why then does Scripture show that evidence every single time that believers being filled with His Spirit then demonstrated?

Yessiree, brother John.

Slain with Christ and made a new creature according to grace and mercy

vs

Born again of water and Spirit according to prophecy and covenant

Not the same thing.

Paul told those in the Body of Christ that they were saved when they were born again:

"But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior" (Titus 3:4-6).

But don't you know, brother musty, that the details of the bible do not matter, and it all says the same thing?

As that great American President, Jimmy Carter said, after he confessed that he had "lust in his heart,"...

"To me it was like breathing," he said of the term. “(A)ll of us [Southern Baptists] considered ourselves to be born again."

Of course, his answer to the "Energy Crisis," was to turn down our thermostats, and wear a sweater, at night. His daughter, Amy, and perhaps his brother, Billy, after a few "Billy Beers," advised him...

Unplug your TV sets, wear sweaters, fire up your fire place, and turn off your A/C, and you will be "born again!!" Puh-rayyyyzzz, Gaaaaaawd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Give me an "Amen," saints, and the Laaaawd, a shout of puh-raayzzzz!"

I missed where Paul asserted, "born again."

Unpack for all of us, Jer, why you insist to peg members of the boc as "born again," when Paul never does. Is it an obsession, on your part?

Your "calling?" An attempt to gain credententials, on your part, to part with us morons, something that we missed, and you need to set us straight?

You and your MADists always treating the Bible like a Cobb salad...croutons over here, there's the bacon, blue cheese over there, cherry tomatoes at 11:00, everything all nice and tidy, separate and distinct, divided up.

Problem is, everyone knows the things of God are not all nice and tidy. Messy, even. God loves a good mess, brother John! That's in the good book somewhere!

Everyone knows the Bible is not a salad but really more of a stew or a gumbo. It's God's goulash, brother John! where it all blends together since, as you say, it's ultimately all the same anyway.

Tell the truth, brother John. Would you rather eat the sweet words of God with a spoon or with a fork? Well how do you eat honey? WITH A SPOON, not with a salad fork! That'd be just ridiculous.

references?
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

Being proud of being an un-believer is not a good thing.

Like I said your reading is not contextual.

The tongue in these scripture is not gibberish you Pentecostals pretend to understand.

They are actually understandable to the audience.

So Paul waits for YEARS to put this vitally important doctrine in one of his last epistles?
