And the "junk" has no function and also you find the same kinds of pieces of junk between humans and chimps and ("related species" is how they put it) and so, therefore, it's "proof" that we've evolved from chimps...
And in fact now you can go to the scientific journals...and you'll find out there's a huge amount of evidence. Now they know that "junk" DNA isn't junk anymore but it's vital.
