Biden's climate agenda

Shut down fossil fuel energy production in America, giving foreign nations the business Americans once owned under Trump. Now Americans pay much more for energy, taxes, and shortages while overseas oil producers remain some of the worst polluters on the planet. And nations like China are not attending the silly climate conferences because China is not going to waste money trying to meet artificial global warming goals.

Biden is determined to lower carbon emissions at great cost and hardship to Americans while China ignores the global warming nonsense and erases any and all gains made by other nations to try to lower carbon emissions worldwide by targeted dates.

The plan was for President Biden to mark America’s triumphant return to global climate leadership at the United Nations summit next week with a green energy deal in hand, raise his prestige on the world stage and maybe snag a photo with Greta Thunberg.

Instead, Mr. Biden faces the prospect of arriving at the U.N. Conference of the Parties, or COP26, in Glasgow, Scotland, with his climate agenda on increasingly shaky ground.

Hours before his Thursday flight to Europe, Mr. Biden scrambled to persuade House Democrats to back a slimmed-down $1.75 trillion “Build Back Better” framework. The plan included about $500 billion for climate priorities such as electric vehicles, rooftop solar tax credits and a Civilian Climate Corps.

Democrats want America to sacrifice more and pay to lower carbon emissions to near zero in order to offset the world's worst polluters who will not be spending a dime to lower their carbon emissions. I do not believe that is fair for Americans and I do not believe that sort of global warming reduction of carbon emissions goals can even work with other nations thumbing their noses at the fake science and unreasonable wild-eyed leftist alarmism.

The president of China, by far the world’s biggest greenhouse gas emitter, isn’t going. Russian President Vladimir Putin, whose economy would collapse if the world stops buying and burning Russia’s fossil fuels, also won’t be there.
