Behemoth is late Middle English, and is from late Hebrew bĕhēmōṯ.
Leviathan
Origin
Levitahan is from late Latin which is from Hebrew liwyāṯān .
Behemoth is the beast of the land, and Leviathan is the beast of the waters of the sea. Both are used as a parable for separate entities. The sea represents a multitude of peoples, and the land represents a under populated wilderness.
The term "Lizard People" comes from the bible. The two different reptiles represent secret societies among the populace of the world.
