Psychiatry is struggling and limping along in an effort to become a science,
and genuinely understand criminal behaviour.
Because in spite of 60 years of Relativism, political correctness
and trying to get along with everyone, it remains critically important
for psychiatry to achieve some sort of scientific standards,
if they are going to be of any use to modern society either
in handling medical problems or social problems, including criminality.
In that direction, the Hare's Psychopathy Test was developed.
On a scale of 40, a 30+ or higher score is considered psychopathic.
It should be remembered that most people have a few 'anti-social' traits,
or normal ambiguities when it comes to thinking, habits, and self-image.
So take the test with a heavy grain of salt and a sense of humour,
and try to be as honest as possible in your answers to the questions.
Don't over-think or second-guess your answers, because many of them
will be counter-intuitive to your own ideas about what constitutes a psychopath.
Here's my score for fun, and although it was below average on the
bell-curve of psychopathy, I'm still disappointed in my score,
and I'm sure others would argue that the test is inaccurate just based
on my score alone...
Take the Test!
