Is Faith Without Works Dead?

"If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:"
If they deny him they will not be saved. Paul's contradictory statement is easily understood. If you are saved, you are saved always. If you deny him, you will not be saved. The question is faith without works. Even if you lose your faith, you remain sealed until the day of redemption.

13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

Who are they?
those who believe that Jesus Christ is 'fully man' and 'fully GOD'. those who believe that Jesus Christ was crucified to the souls of God's Elect that He was buried for three full days and was resurrected from the Grave proving that He held the key of Death in His hands. Those who believe the GOD who will bring the OT 'dead in Christ '(the remnant (all) of Israel) to the Kingdom of Heaven (Millennium)for a thousand years of peace and prosperity. Those who believe the 'word of God' is inerrant and is the very Breath of GOD. I could go on but this is a good start.

It is good to speak with you again Right Divider. Have a great evening.

You're close... but your idea of "election" is completely incorrect. I can even tell by your capitalization of the word "elect".

Yes, the word (with/without a Capital 'E'), is given 17 times in the Bible. 'Elect' is a doctrine even Paul taught in Rom and 1Co. Even Peter and the epistles of John use it.

Paul does not teach your version of "election".

Elect does NOT mean "chosen for salvation".

Elect means "chosen for a purpose". There are many different "elections" in the Bible.

The Lord Jesus Christ is elect.

Isa 42:1-4 (AKJV/PCE)
(42:1) Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, [in whom] my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. (42:2) He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. (42:3) A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. (42:4) He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.
