I to get weary of the battle. But it’s the other Christians that work against the Lord that bother me the most. They let the world tell them how to be Christ-like and undermine His work to set us Right.
They side with the world and tell us that we can’t stand up against evil because that is not what Yahushua would do.
He the money changers out of the outer court because they were interfering with the prayers and worship of the Gentiles.
He publicly confronted the religious leaders for not doing their jobs.
He didn’t back down from the political leaders.
He went against the flow because the flow was against Elohim or Yahweh.
Pride is another thing that they try to define for us. The Lord was talking about being puffed-up compared to being built-up by and in Him.
If someone said “Wow! You are a good hunter” I could say thanks and leave it at that. I am not being puffed-up if what they said is true because it is an ability that I have, and they were only making a statement about it. If they ask “where did you learn to hunt like that?” then I would say my I loved to be with my father and learn from him. He taught me how to hunt, he did this as a servent of my heavenly Father.
Or if they say “you are a good artist” I say thanks. If they ask “ how did you get to be so good at art?” then I can say, the talent came from God as a gift, my mother helped me practice and develop it, and in my heart I am lead to continue to use that I was given.
I can see that you don’t let the world define your relationship with Yah.
Don’t be afraid to own what the Lord has given you.
Remember when they asked Jesus by what authority that He did the things He did. It would have seemed like a good time to give credit to the Father, but He knew their hearts. They weren’t interested in the source of His authority. They wanted to confront Him and make Him submit to their authority. Knowing this He caught them in a catch-22 and then didn’t answer their question.
If some one is truly asking and we claim that what the Lord did in or for us was really only our doing then we are in trouble. If we allow ourselves to be puffed-up or ride on an air, then we are open for a fall back the solid ground of the truth.
