A few comments:

1. Empathy isn't a problem for people with AS. We're not sociopaths. We empathize just fine...when we are able to catch on to the appropriate behavior and social cues. It's the latter part that's tricky. [Though it does get easier with time.]

2. I was unaware that you were diagnosed with AS. How in the bloody blazes did you get married?

3. I don't get this whole "let's point out the fact that Trad has AS" thing in recent threads. It doesn't bother me, of course. I don't really care either way. It just seems odd given the fact that 1. the threads weren't about AS and 2. I basically never talk about AS.

Heads up. I know that I haven't been answering much of your stuff lately. It's not that I'm ignoring you or anything. It's just that either:

1. I've intended to get around to it, but just didn't.
2. I didn't really have much to say. :idunno:

Not a problem. I've by and large said what I meant to in that thread and it looks like there are some ongoing and older arguments/positions being taken that are way off the mark I was going for so I'll just step back and let you guys hash that out. I hope I've been clear that nothing in my position is aimed as an attack on either of you and I'm happy that your marriage has been and remains a good one. :cheers:
